Setting up your booking subdomain

Published · Last updated

What a subdomain is

A subdomain gives your booking page its own branded web address on BodyWorkr, for
example yourpractice.bodyworkr.com. It is free, included with your account, and works
immediately once you set it.

How to set it

  1. Go to Accounts. This lists the accounts you belong to.
  2. Open the account you want to change.
  3. Click Edit (you'll only see this if you're an admin of that account — see below).
  4. Enter a short name for your practice in the Subdomain field (letters, numbers, and
    hyphens).
  5. Save. Your booking page is now live at yourname.bodyworkr.com.

Who can do this

Only an account owner or admin can change your booking address. If you don't see the
Edit button on the account, you're not an admin — ask an owner to make the change or to
grant you the admin role. See User roles and permissions.

Tips

  • Keep it short and recognizable — it is what clients will see and type.
  • You can change it later, but old links will stop working, so pick one you will keep.
  • Want to use a web address you already own instead? See Connecting a custom domain.
