Why roles matter

Not everyone on your team can do everything. Each person's role decides what they can see
and change. If a button or page is missing for you, it's almost always a role limit — this
article explains who can do what, and who to ask.

The roles

Account owner

The person who owns the practice account. Owners have full control, including billing and
deleting the account. An owner is always an admin.

Admin

An account member with the admin role. Admins run the practice day to day:

An account member without the admin role. Members can:

Members do not have access to business setup, the schedule, or client records unless an
owner or admin grants them the admin role.

Who can do this

Only an account owner or admin can change a member's role. Manage members from
Accounts → your account → members.
